HR Business Partner

Minute Media, the leading sports media and technology company, is looking for a skilled and passionate HR Business Partner to join our New York team.
 

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven HRBP to partner with managers and employees in leading key HR processes. That includes: work force planning, sourcing and hiring, manager coaching, developing processes, work on employees related topics etc.

 

Candidates must have a can-do attitude, be people oriented, great communication skills and passionate about growth.

 

We’re still small enough where every voice counts, but big enough to touch hundreds of millions around the world.
 

Responsibility:

 

  • Be the HR person on the ground for managers and employees

  • Drive HR initiatives locally including HR events, performance reviews, goal setting, managers development etc.

  • Lead and drive Work Force Planning and hiring process from start to end

  • Be partner of choice for employees for any HR related topics and addressing any employment relations issues

  • Communicating and explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees

  • Work on onboarding and off boarding processes – work closely with Justworks

  • Drive cultural related initiatives


 

Requirements:

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to combine strategic HR processes and hands on processes

  • 4 - 6 years of work experience as an HR generalist or HRBP

  • Knowledge of labor and employment law

  • Preference to candidates who work with start-up companies
