Minute Media’s brands, 90min and Mental Floss, have been named a Webby Award Honoree in three categories in the 2023 Webby Awards.
90min, our global football brand, has been named an Honoree in the ‘Websites and Mobile Sites - Sports’ category as well as the ‘Video - Documentary: Shortform’ category for their work with DoorDash on ‘The Making of Charlotte FC’ which tells the behind-the-scenes story of how Charlotte FC came to Major League Soccer.
Throughout this 15 minute documentary, 90min connects with club staff, officials, players and fan groups to share the story of how this new team brought together a community of passionate soccer fans who had been searching for a team to support. You can watch the full, award-honored work here.
Our lifestyle and culture brand, Mental Floss, was also honored in this year’s awards in the ‘Websites and Mobile Sites - Weird’ category for their editorial curiosity and endless dedication to all things ‘flossy’.
